We manufacture where our customers live and work
We are committed to manufacturing in Europe, particularly in the “high-wage countries” of Germany and Switzerland. The development and design of our cross buggy originate from a renowned design and engineering firm in southern Germany. The chassis is manufactured entirely in Switzerland in collaboration with innovative Swiss quality companies.
We believe this is a successful symbiosis of “German engineering and Swiss perfection.”
For assembly, we work with Lebenshilfe Donau-Iller in southern Germany, an institution that not only offers people with mental and/or physical disabilities meaningful work, but also a social community and comprehensive care.
All other components come from brand manufacturers in the European Union. For example, we source our 5-point safety belts from Sweden, our braking system, our innovative wheels, and all small components from Germany, and our Ökotex 100-certified seat covers from Poland. We expressly refrain from sourcing parts from the Far East or other low-wage countries.
Our commitment to quality
Our aim is to manufacture the YippieYo Crossbuggy using the highest quality materials and workmanship, ensuring maximum agility, safety, and comfort. The chassis is made of pure aluminum, with the tubular frame bent using a complex “free-forming” process and then welded together by hand to a high standard. We do not use simple plastic plug connections or cheap materials. All our components come from renowned brand manufacturers and meet mountain bike quality standards. Our seat cushions are all Oeko-Tex 100 certified and meet the highest category.
We comply with the strict requirements of the European standard for strollers and subject the YippieYo Crossbuggy to the most difficult test conditions by an independent and world-leading testing laboratory in order to guarantee our customers the highest and tested safety.

With the YippieYo Crossbuggy, we want to offer a high-quality product at a fair price. And we want our customers to get as much as possible for their money. That’s why we deliberately avoid additional cost-intensive retail stages and only offer the Crossbuggy to our customers online.
This is the only way we can live up to our claim: to produce a quality product where our customers live and work—in Europe.
Our concept of sustainability
The Crossbuggy from YippieYo is made of high-quality aluminum, which can be completely recycled. All seat covers and other components can be replaced as needed without having to dispose of the entire stroller. We do not produce a disposable product, but rather a high-quality, durable, and almost completely recyclable product.
We avoid long transport routes and unfair working conditions in the Far East. Instead, we invest and produce where our customers and we ourselves live and work, primarily in Germany and Switzerland, as well as in other EU countries.
The tubular frame is bent and welded by hand in Switzerland. It is then professionally assembled in Germany by a large workshop for people with disabilities.
With our product, we support and promote a sustainable, healthy, and inexpensive leisure activity: walks, hikes, and excursions in nature. And we focus on something that is sometimes pushed too far to the margins in our everyday lives dominated by smartphones, appointments, computer games, etc.:
