German Design & Swiss Engineering

We produce where our customers live and work.
YippieYo consciously commits to Europe as a manufacturing location – and thus to quality, fairness, and sustainability.
Our roots lie in the high-wage countries of Germany and Switzerland, where precision and perfection are at home. Our components come exclusively from brand manufacturers within the EU.

Our Commitment to Quality

Our claim is to manufacture with the highest material and processing quality. The chassis is made of pure aluminum; the tubular frame for it is bent in an elaborate “free-forming” process and then welded together by high-quality manual craftsmanship. We refrain from using simple plastic plug connections and cheap materials. All our components come from reputable brand manufacturers and meet mountain bike quality standards. All our seat cushions are Oeko-Tex 100 certified and meet the highest category. We adhere to the strict requirements of the European standard for strollers and possess the GS certificate.

Why We Offer the YippieYo Crossbuggy Online

We want to offer a high-quality product at a fair price with the YippieYo Crossbuggy. And we want our customers to get the most value for their money. That is why we consciously forgo further costly commercial stages and offer the Crossbuggy to our customers exclusively online. Only in this way can we meet our commitment: to produce a quality product where our customers live and work—in Europe.

Our View on Sustainability

The YippieYo Crossbuggy is made from high-quality aluminum, which can be fully recycled. All seat covers and other components can be renewed if necessary, without having to discard the entire carriage. We do not produce a disposable product, but a high-quality, durable, and almost completely recyclable product.

The tubular frame is bent in Switzerland and hand-welded. And it is professionally assembled in Germany by a large workshop for people with disabilities.

The renowned South German design and engineering office, Busse Design + Engineering, was secured as a development partner. Busse is known for successful designs such as the Römer child seat, the Kässbohrer PistenBully, the Viking lawnmower, and many others.

«The core idea for the design of this product is a completely new interpretation of familiar vehicle characteristics such as stability, safety, maneuverability, dynamics, and styling. Unlike conventional strollers, pull-along wagons, or bike trailers, the new ‘Crossbuggy’ is developed and constructed so that it does not compromise any of these handling characteristics even on difficult terrain (forest, mountains, beach, city) and easily overcomes obstacles.»
