Made for Mums Awards 2017

The MadeForMums Awards 2017 shortlist is in, and boy there are some fantastic contenders! This award is given so people recognize and reward the very best products, brands, and services currently available in the parenting industry. This year after judging thousands of products with professional testing, celebrity judging and at-home parent trialing, we are pleased to announce that YippieYo has backed The Made for Mums Awards 2017 in two categories, that is, All-Terrain Pushchair And Innovation Of The Year. Wanna know what’s their verdict? The verdict I really enjoyed using the Crossbuggy. The kids loved hopping on and off it, and the novelty of being carted around. It feels likes a good solution to when you’re kids are too old for a buggy, but not old enough for long walks. It’s a great idea for families who do festivals or love exploring outdoors.

The Best Baby & Toddler Gear Awards by Mumii reveal the very best products for expectant and new parents. With more than 300 products rigorously tested, culminating in over 900 parent reviews, plus the Mumii team scoring each and every item, these are the awards to stand up and take note of. To celebrate the Awards, Mumii has created the Best Baby & Toddler Gear magazine, the must-read for all expectant parents. Full of interesting articles, a beautiful inspiration guide and revealing all of the gold, silver, bronze and consumer choice winners, it empowers families to make informed choices and buy what is right for them. Innovation Award Nominee 2015

An Award that honours the most innovative products at Europe´s biggest baby fair, the “Kind + Jugend” in Cologne. Due to the high dedication of the baby and toddler outfitting industry and its creative innovations Kind + Jugend establish the Innovation Award which traditionally elects the most inventive product developments on the first day of the fair. The winners’ tags in the 8 award categories have established in the industry and are now acting as a good sales argument and an important criterion for quality in international trade. The jury has come to a decision. Amongst 174 submissions of 130 different companies from 25 countries, the most innovative products for the baby and kids outfitting industry have been selected and the nominees for the Kind + Jugend Innovation Awards 2015 have been announced. And among one of the 8 different categories, YipiipeYo was chosen as one of the nominees in World of Moving Baby category along with two other competitors.

The trend here too is also increasingly toward design, quality, and not least environmental consciousness and sustainability. All of these developments come together in one place: Kind + Jugend in Cologne. With 1,217 exhibitors from 49 countries and 24,700 trade visitors from around the world. The international leading trade fair for premium baby and toddler products is the perfect platform for global commerce and the order business. In no other place in the world can one see so much of what will already be in children’s rooms tomorrow. And this is the reason YippieYo was funded by the German Ministry of Economics as a young innovative company at the KIND + JUGEND in the year 2015.

Tested in the laboratory by Intertek, tested in practice by active parents

The YippieYo all-terrain buggy complies with all safety and quality standards in accordance with the European Standard for Pushchairs and Prams (EN 1888) and is GS certified in Germany. In tests, which are carried out independently, the products are rigorously assessed with regard to possible sharp or chafing edges, pinch points, the brake systems, chemical substances, stability, durability and quality of manufacturing. As world-leading testing and certification laboratory, we place very high demands on the quality of the products that we test. Accordingly demanding and rigorous are the paces we put the products through and the requirements that have to be met with regard to material and manufacturing. We were already involved in providing input during the development stage of the Crossbuggy and are we are very impressed with the results. Thomas Rissmann, Senior Testing Engineer at Intertek In order to objectively guarantee quality and safety, the YippieYo Crossbuggy was assessed and tested in the Intertek testing laboratory, the world’s leading facility in the field of testing and certification.
